2010 mustang interior
The interior of the new Mustang is an area that needed the biggest improvement in order to compete more effectively with the new Camaro. While there was little wrong with the design of the ‘05 car’s interior, the materials were a little rough, especially in the lower end models. The ’10s interior has gotten an all new design that maintains and reinterprets the dash design all with softer touch, higher quality materials. [click to continue...]

2010 ford new mustang
Ford is showing off the 2010 Mustang today with a whole bunch of pix, inside and out. The new Mustang has a thoroughly different look about it compared to the “original’ 05-09 cars, being that those cars were the first all new Mustangs in a couple decades. It’s debuting at this week’s L.A. show in coupe, convertible, V6, and V8 models. Take a look at our gallery and see what you think of the new look. [click to continue...]

gop senatorsMany top GOP senators feel so strongly about not helping US automakers that they are going so far as to call them “dinosaurs” that should disappear altogether. At odds with Democrats who would like to give GM some of the $700 billion already approved to rescue banks, they feel that the Detroit automakers deserve to fail for not being competitive or innovative. That sentiment is out of touch and misinformed. [click to continue...]

mazda 2
Mazda and Ford have had a very close relationship for the last almost 30 years, its a strategic partnership with sharing of vehicle architectures and the like for mostly small cars. While the brand is widely treated as part of Ford’s stable of brands, its never been a wholly owned subsidiary. Instead, Ford chose to acquire enough shares to make for a controlling stake in the Zoom-Zoom brand. What began as a way for Ford to break into Asian markets, is now a crutch to lean on during some very difficult times. [click to continue...]

GM Makes Its Case On YouTube

November 18, 2008

gm bailout youtube
GM is trying its best to win some public support for government help by going straight to YouTube. They’ve put up a video explaining some of the consequences if they and the rest of the US auto industry were to completely go out of business. Basically, estimates of up to 3 million jobs would be lost along with well upwards of $400 billion in tax revenues and economic activity. The rest of the facts GM shows may seem overly dramatic, but are accurate nonetheless. [click to continue...]

car salesman
Buying a new car at the dealership is always a tricky thing to do right. If you don’t care about the deal you get, and don’t mind feeling dirty afterwards for giving in so easily to the dealer’s every whim, then its actually quite easy. 370Z Out In The Open

November 14, 2008

red 370z
The 370Z has been caught out in the wide open ahead of its debut at the LA auto show next week. No camo, great angles, and lots of sunlight really show off the Z’s new look extremely well. At the same time, given those circumstances one has to wonder if Nissan didn’t give the ok for these to be taken. [click to continue...]
