Ford is showing off the 2010 Mustang today with a whole bunch of pix, inside and out. The new Mustang has a thoroughly different look about it compared to the “original’ 05-09 cars, being that those cars were the first all new Mustangs in a couple decades. It’s debuting at this week’s L.A. show in coupe, convertible, V6, and V8 models. Take a look at our gallery and see what you think of the new look.
Just about every body panel has been changed, except for the roof. The front has a more aggressive, squintier look that is inspired by the Giugiaro concept and the GT500. The hood seems to be a more production friendly of the Shelby CS6 hood and is much more interesting than the old stock hood. The biggest change though is over the rear wheels. A slight shoulder curves up and out giving the car a much more hunkered-down stance. The rear fascia is redone with LED lighting in a more angled manner. Gone are the fender flares of the old model. Mechanically, the car is mostly the identical.
