2010 mustang interior
The interior of the new Mustang is an area that needed the biggest improvement in order to compete more effectively with the new Camaro. While there was little wrong with the design of the ‘05 car’s interior, the materials were a little rough, especially in the lower end models. The ’10s interior has gotten an all new design that maintains and reinterprets the dash design all with softer touch, higher quality materials.

Overall, the design team went for a more modern look, choosing to change out the former car’s distinctive AC vents, and the gauges with an easier to read setup and more modern font. The center stack looks more like a single piece now, and all the switch gear seems higher quality. The leather on the seats and doors is of a higher grade and with more interesting stitching options. While style is a subjective issue, there is no doubt that this Mustang’s interior is built better and should quiet some of the previous car’s critics.
