Why are we shouting out loud that your car is for sale? Because we really want to help you sell it as quickly as possible! Including an ad in a database is great, but we think there’s more that could be done.
Searching through classified ads is like finding a box full of what you need. Everything you need in one place, thats pretty convenient. Just tell the box what you’re looking for and out come dozens of vehicle ads that match your criteria. Those vehicle ads have a decent, and hopefully short, life inside that box. But those ads would be happier, and sell faster, if they could come out and play…ouside the box! Maybe they could be seen more easily by people that need a car but haven’t just yet thought to open the box to find what they need.
Locally targeted, increased exposure mean faster sales
Thats the basic premise behind our Featured Ads option. This option means that your ad is in the classifieds database, but can also come out and be seen throughout the main pages of the Neighborhood Motors web site, between articles, at the bottom of pages, you get real advertising besides your database listing. This is a great option that further builds on the convenience of online car shopping, and increases the amount of exposure a vehicle gets.
A small group of vehicle thumbnail images and basic details will be displayed at the bottom of articles, each linking back to the main page for that particular ad. In addition to the article placement, there is also a page that shows only Featured Ads. Extra exposure in this way means that vehicle listings are more targeted towards buyers, and more convenient than searching through the classified ad section.
Another benefit built in to the Featured Ads option is that visitors to the site can choose what Featured Ads are displayed by entering any ZIP Code into the box provided on the in the first column towards the left of every page. We’ll remember a visitor’s ZIP Code and use that to display Featured Ads that are located in that general area. All things being equal, a buyer would prefer to buy a car locally than to have it shipped.
Featured Ads are a great way to get significantly more exposure for your vehicle and plus, that exposure is geographically and buyer targeted. Better exposure means a faster sale.
