Latest spyshots of the new 2010 Mustang


Ford’s restyled Mustang is due for its big debut in just a few weeks time at the L.A. Auto Show but here are some spy pix to hold you over until then. The current model debuted as a 2005 model, the first all new model from the ground up in several model generations.

The new one pictured below is not all new, instead featuring restyled front and rear-ends, and very subtle hips over the rear-wheels. Overall, its a slightly more modern take meant to take on the new, and not so slightly modern, Camaro. Expect a redone interior that isn’t so 1960s with higher quality materials than the 2005 model.

The Mustang outlived all its competitors once already, so hopefully new competition from Dodge and Chevy will serve to improve the breed and not hurt business. But with all the change being brought on by this new economy who knows.
